Until 2001 this was ‘The Queens Tavern’.

The current licencees changed the name to ‘The Queens No.1’ to distinguish it from ‘The Queens’ in Regent’s Park Road.

The signs in the 1972 photo say ‘PUBLIC BAR’ on the left and ‘SALOON BAR’ on the right.
