There were others in the late 1800s, then a long gap from 1900-65.The first bookshop in this road was at 107 in 1872. The trade picked up again with a second-hand bookshop at 81 from 1965-75; this overlapped with Bookshop 85 at no 85 in the 1970s. Primrose Hill Books has been the longest-lasting bookshop in Regent’s Park Road.
